Caring Hearts is a non-profit organization located in Iron County, MI.  Caring Hearts tries to address the physical needs of the residents in Iron County by identifying those who have a need for clothing, personal products or food, and supplying those needs through donations of money and items or services that can be used to achieve these goals.  With your help, we can make this happen.  If you know of someone in need, or have something that could help us meet the needs of our community, please contact us.   Together we can make this happen.

In the fall of 2008, Caring Hearts put together over 80 backpacks for children in Iron and Dickinson Counties.  We received requests for help from various agencies and schools to fill the needs of local children for their school supplies.  This is the biggest undertaking of school supplies we have done.  In the past 4 years, we have supplied less than half as many backpacks and supplies.  With many families struggling with the poor economy, Caring Hearts (with the help of all its donors) stepped up and supplied as many as we could! This year we anticipate the need to be even greater!  We are getting ready for the school year and are asking for help.  We need money donations and school supply donations.  If you would like to help, please contact us!  Each backpack filled with school supplies costs $15-$20 depending on the grade of the child.  We would love it if you would sponsor a backpack!
